At the industry leading UK Construction Week show at the NEC in Birmingham, Quinn enjoyed three days of engagement with show visitors, making new connections and further cementing relations with existing customers.
With its Quinn Rooftiles on show in the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) Roofing Pavilion, it was ideally situated to maximise visitors with a roofing specialism.
This three day event, from Tuesday 18th to Thursday 20th October, afforded Quinn the opportunity to display its portfolio of top-quality rooftiles from its Traditional and Lakeland ranges.
The Quinn stand focused on demonstrating the quality and performance of the rooftiles, with an emphasis on their durability and easy of fitting. The versatility of Quinn Rooftiles is second to none, a fact recognised by visitors to the show, evidenced through their enthusiasm and interest in acquiring tiles from both ranges.
Also at the show, Technical Manager, Jason Martin took to the Home Building Stage to discuss thermal bridging and how smart building design can significantly reduce construction costs. Jason said: “Heatloss through thermal bridging is being largely ignored in building design. It’s almost like a taboo. Designers and Energy Assessors are prepared to over specify insulation throughout the rest of the building rather than get into the nitty gritty detailing required to sort out their thermal bridging issues. Unfortunately, this is costing their client thousands in additional construction costs.”
At Quinn we have created our own suite of Construction Details where we have combined our Quinn Lite and Quinn Therm products to produce highly efficient yet simple details for all typical junctions in residential buildings. As well as reducing construction costs, the use of our details will reduce energy bills throughout the life of the building.
UK Construction Week provided not only access to an ideal new customer base, but the opportunity for Quinn’s technical experts to engage with show visitors and share their extensive knowledge.
