Applicants for Graduate Management positions are expected to hold at a minimum 2:1 honours degree in a relevant business field.
The Accounts and Finance departments play a key role in supplying control and management information to all businesses within Quinn Industrial Holdings. Therefore this role is particularly important, and often challengin.
You will work closely with a senior qualified Accountant whilst achieving your qualification as a Chartered Accountant. Every aspect will be covered providing you with practical knowledge of the business environment. As the management information systems use advanced computerised software, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable systems experience.
You will hold at least a 2:1 Honours degree in Economics, Accounting or related business field. It is envisaged that by the end of year four you will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with responsibility as Company Accountant for a sizeable business division.
Whether you are working in Quinn Packaging, Quinn Cement, Quinn Therm or any other division of the business the control of quality and production processes are critical.
Continual investment in modern technology and systems reflects the businesses understanding of international developments and its intention to be a strong competitor in local and international markets. You will work alongside experienced Engineers who will guide your development as you contribute practically on a daily basis and strategically in long-term corporate plans.
You will receive support and encourage to become chartered in your field. You will hold at least a 2:1 BEng degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic and be motivated with a desire to learn.
Quinn Packaging is a World Class Manufacturing plant involved in a range of technologies including cast film extrusion, blown film extrusion, injection moulding, thermoforming and product decoration.
This graduate programme has been carefully structured so that you can gain experience in each of these manufacturing technologies with full involvement in all operational and strategic aspects of the business including production, quality assurance, engineering and product development.
The programme will expose you to real projects and challenges faced in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Supported by your appointed mentor you will learn from feedback, coaching and training sessions, provided on a continuous basis.
The programme will also ensure you have the opportunity to develop a working knowledge of a wide range of polymers (PET, PP, PS and PE) plus gain experience of working in a manufacturing environment which is fully accredited to international standards.
You will hold at least a 2:1 honours degree in Polymer / Chemical Engineering or an Engineering degree with Polymer / Chemical specialism and have an interest in developing your skills in this critical specialism.
The Environmental and H&S departments play a significant role in ensuring that the many divisions within the business are compliant with environmental and H&S regulations.
You will assist in dealing with environmental or H&S issues across all divisions, to include liaison with regulatory bodies, and monitoring of a company-wide waste management or H&S systems. You will be involved in the investigation and recording of environmental or H&S incidents and assess how corrective and preventive actions may be taken.
You will hold at least a 2:1 honours degree in Environmental management or H&S Management.
